The leather trim is capra (goatskin), which I dyed a warm tan. The trim is silk taffeta. I made a single welt pocket on the front, and found the perfect watch to put into it. Strength and stability are aided with 2 internal layers of cotton coutil and 14 spiral and flat steel bones.
